As the cyclists over in France take a rest day, so too do the spinners in the Tour de Fleece. Instead of spinning today, I used a borrowed drum carder to card up two ounces of a Shetland fleece I bought last summer. I've got a total of six ounces carded so far, and I'm going to try to get a little over a pound carded before I scour it, dye it in several colors, then card the colors together for a heathery mix.
